It will be Cal Lutheran against Washington U. for the national title after Thursday’s NCAA Division III women’s soccer semifinals.

The Regals (18-1-6) advanced to their first-ever national final after outlasting Tufts, 4-3 in penalties, after fighting to a 1-1 draw after 110 minutes.

The Bears (17-1-4) battled Messiah to a 1-1 standoff before advancing in penalties, 4-2, to remain alive for its second national title.

The national championship match is scheduled for Saturday at noon ET.
