3. Mace Highlights All-America Team

Fifty-six student-athletes from 35 different schools were selected to the 2023 NFCA Division III All-America teams. Concordia Wisconsin graduate pitcher Gina Followell, Texas Lutheran junior hurler Ashlyn Strother and Salisbury senior outfielder Abby Mace all earned their third-straight All-America honor, with Mace being a first-team selection all three seasons.

4. Aney Headlines Academic Tennis Squad

Three-time All-American Nick Aney of Gustavus Adolphus was named the Academic All-American of the Year as the College Sports Communicators announced their 2023 Academic All-America men’s tennis team.

5. Lightning Round ⚡️

🏃🏻‍♀️ Track and Field. The USTFCCCA named its Outstanding Performers of the 2023 NCAA Division III Championships. Men’s honors went to Sam Blaskowski of UW-La Crosse and Yakob Ekoue of UW-Eau Claire on the track and in the field, respectively, while Michelle Kwafo of Coast Guard and Victoria Kadiri of Johns Hopkins stood out for the women in those respective venues.

🥍 Lacrosse (W). The IWLCA handed out individual awards on Wednesday - Middlebury’s Jane Earley was named Player and Attacker of the Year; William Smith’s Maddie Montgomery was selected as the Midfielder of the Year; Middlebury’s Erica Barr was tabbed as Defender of the Year, while York’s Isabella Garabo was chosen as Goalkeeper of the Year.
