1.  Three For The Show

 

Women's Golf named 2022 CCIW Champions

Three teams won their respective conference championship over the weekend and received their league's AQ to the 2023 Division III Women's Golf Championship.

  • Illinois Wesleyan rolled to a relatively easy 45-shot victory over Augustana to claim the CCIW titleLexi Onsrud led a 1-2-3 Titan finish with a 227 to take medalist honors.
     
  • It took a team playoff to determine the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic championship as Whitewater and La Crosse dueled to matching 971 totals after 54 holes. The Eagles earned the trophy and the AQ. Eau Claire's Lexi Meade won medalists honors by a single shot (233).
     
  • Minnesota-Morris held off Northwestern by two shots to win the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference crown. The difference in the 54-hole event was two shots in round 2. Northland's Maddy Bloedel finished first with a 258.

The American Rivers Conference and the SLIAC wrap up their championships today.

The University of Wisconsin-Superior Rallies to Capture the Men's UMAC Golf Championship

Three teams punched their ticket to the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship by capturing their league title over the weekend.

  • Eastern Connecticut won the Little East crown by 16 shots over Castleton. The Warriors' Ashton Lewis took medalist honors with a one-over-par 145.
     
  • Wisconsin-Superior stormed back from a 13-shot deficit entering the final round to overcome Northwestern for the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference championship (959-961). Brady Raph of Minnesota-Morris cruised to an eight-shot victory in the individual chase.
     
  • Husson captured the North Atlantic Conference title by 18 shots over SUNY Canton. Jack King of the Eagles fired a final-round 69 to win medalist honors by a shot.
